GRANNY'S LIP TREATMENT

This is another original 1800's formula from Granny's Medicine Satchel for protecting sensitive skin from the cold and the heat.  Lip protection is not a new thing. Pioneers, loggers, fishermen, and anyone who worked outdoors knew the value of a good lip treatment that would last a whole work day.  A combination of sunflower oil, beeswax, and beef tallow was used for protection, while castor oil, rose hip oil, and chamomile were added for moisturizing and healing damaged skin.  All natural. No chemicals. Just simple old fashioned protection.
